Smoke on the Water

Last night DC Shoes got Bright off to a smoking start, as skaters hit a custom built course along the riverfront at open air arena 'Else', with a packed out crowd there to witness. The best trick competition presented by with Skate Deluxe put 5K into skaters pockets, with DC’s Mikey Taylor and Wes Kremer hosting the show and skater Patrick Rogalski walking away with a 2.5k chunk of it for his nosegrind nollie kick flip off the ledge. Day turned into night, and skate course turned into dance floor, with Jeru the Damaja, DJ Premier and Freddie Gibbs getting the party into full swing, with the hyped crowd continuing on to Zur Wilden Renate until the early hours...
